The name Appre originated from the word "appreciate". Here at Appre we are aware of the current unsustainable state of the fashion industry, and we are trying to do our best to help direct the industry back into balance.
We realize that we are far from perfect. With each step and each collection, we try to move forward towards the most sustainable fashion we can create. We are always looking for new local suppliers so we can continue to produce our goods in the Czech Republic. Production and materials
All Appre garmets are designed and sewn in the Czech Republic. Some pieces, which we produce only in small limited quantities, are created directly in our Prague studio. Other garments from the collection are made in a small factory in the Czech Republic. When it is possible, we try to find local suppliers of materials and individual components. All our suppliers have been paid for their hard work.
We take great care in the process of choosing the materials. We are constantly looking for textiles and components with the smallest possible ecological and ethical footprint. We try new materials and new technologies on the market, such as the Austrian Tencel™ with Refibra™ technology. We try to find the best possible balance between sustainability, practicality and aesthetics of the material. You can find more about materials in the Materials section.
GOTS stands for "Global Organic Textile Standard". It is a globally recognized certificate for natural fiber textiles, such as cotton. This certificate can only be granted to those textiles that contain at least 70% of organic fibers. Strict social and economic criteria must be met throughout the supply chain in the production of these materials.
Instructions on how to take care of individual garments and materials can be found in our Shop or in the Materials section. In general, the more care you give to the pieces, the longer they stay beautiful. We recommend to wash everything by hand only, with high quality detergent and without any fabric softener. Please do not put Appre pieces in the dryer, let it dry freely instead. Iron at a very mild temperature, and only on the reverse side. More tips can be found in our Blog.
You can order the garment by adding it to the Cart in our Shop. Please fill in the contact details, choose the method of payment and select the shipping method. To complete the order, click the Submit Order button. As soon as we receive your order, we will confirm it to you by e-mail. After receiving the payment to our bank account, we will ship the goods using the carrier of your choice.
Unfortunately, you cannot change your order once you submit it. As soon as we confirm your order, we will start working on its dispatch. If you make a mistake in your order, please contact us immediately at email@example.com and we will instruct you on the next step. You can cancel the order and return the unused goods in the original packaging within 14 days. More about this process can be found in our Terms and Conditions.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the availability of goods from unfinished orders. We produce our collections in small series, and therefore it may happen that the goods are sold out by the next day. As soon as you send in the order and we confirm it back to you, the goods are reserved only for you. After the money arrives from your bank account, we are shipping the order ASAP.
As soon as we receive payment for the ordered garments, we will start working on shipping the order. Usually we ship the order to you the next working day. The chosen carrier will then inform you about the progress of the delivery of the order. Within the Czech Republic and Slovakia, you can expect the package within 5 working days. Within Europe usually within 10 working days. Exceptionally, transport may be delayed by the carrier in some specific cases, for example before Christmas. We apologize in advance for these situations.
The price of transport and shipping depends on the destination country and on the carrier of your choice. Each transport company has its own price list. The final shipping price will be calculated during the order. Within the Czech Republic, transport usually ranges between 70 CZK and 150 CZK.
Yes, we will be happy to deliver your order to Slovakia. Currently, we can also ship to Germany, Austria, Poland and Hungary.
Oops. First, please do not panic! Unfortunately, once the package is on its way to you, the address can no longer be changed. If we have not yet sent you the package, we will do our best to help you out. In this case, please inform us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sometimes some garments may be out of stock. Therefore it may happen that we will divide your order into several parts, so you do not have to wait till we restock the missing items. In this case, we will always contact you by e-mail. If you did not receive an e-mail from us and therefore your order should arrive complete please contact us at email@example.com.
If such unpleasant situation happens, we are very sorry about that. If the shipment is visibly damaged upon delivery, please do not accept it from the carrier and, if possible, take a photo of the damaged shipment. Contact us as soon as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will instruct you on the next steps. If you find that the damaged goods are inside the shipment, please contact us on the same e-mail. We will contact you as soon as possible with instructions regarding the exchange or refund. You will also find instructions on how to proceed in the event of returns in our Terms and Conditions.
Gift cards are electronic. After payment, you will receive an email from us including a voucher with a unique code. You can print out the gift voucher at home or send it to someone else by e-mail. You can apply the discount (the value of the voucher) before submitting the order by entering a unique code in the appropriate field. The code can only be used once. Returns and Refunds
Before submitting the order, we recommend to take a look at the Size Chart and read useful information about the materials. We believe that with that info you will choose the size that fits you correctly. We produce Appre collections in small limited series, so we cannot always guarantee the availability of the required size for replacement.
We care about every customer and every order, and therefore, if possible, we will try to accommodate you as much as possible. In case of exchange of goods, contact us at email@example.com.
The goods can be returned or exchanged within 14 days after receipt of the shipment. The goods must be unworn, must contain all the original labels and tags and must be returned in the original packaging. If the goods are damaged, used or otherwise devalued, we will not be able to accept such exchange or return. Please note that we do not reimburse you for new costs associated with shipping and returning the goods back to us.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to refund you if the goods are returned to us in a condition other than original, incomplete or without all packaging or labels.
If we have not yet ship you the order and you have decided to cancel it, please contact us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will agree on the next steps together. If we find out about the cancellation of the order in time, it is possible to cancel it and refund your money. If you decide to return goods that have already arrived, notify us about the cancellation of the order in writing to the e-mail email@example.com no later than 14 days after receipt of the shipment. Oh no! We are very sorry about that. We try to improve every day. We make all our products with the greatest care we can, but we realize that no one is perfect. And mistakes can occur. In this case, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and describe your experience. Only if we get the information about our mistakes, we have a chance to fix it
You can return unused goods to us within 14 days without giving a reason. Nevertheless, if you would be willing to share with us the reason for returning the goods, we would greatly appreciate it. It gives us an opportunity to improve.
